After installing the Phoca gallery Joomla 1.5 Native component on a Joomla site I am impressed with the functionality of this component and the ease of installation and configuration. In only a few clicks the component was installed and it had created albums and thumbnails for over a hundred pictures in seconds. Some limitations are there are no options to purchase a licence and remove the phoca logo, It hasn't quite intergrated into the open source cms VirtueMart as well as some people had hoped, but I plan to look into developing a solution to this shortly. Overall it's an excellent component and I havn't even needed to change the theme or default styling as I feel it fits in with the sites look and feel. take a look at the Phoca in action . http://www.le-creations.co.uk/galleries |
