Howsafe is a family-run independent workwear & PPE supplier. Founded in 1978, their workwear store in Peterborough is regarded as one of the best workwear & PPE outlets in the UK and is supported by several mobile showrooms.
Howsafe’s Pain Points
The Howsafe team were seeking an agency they could rely on - a team of experts that would own the development lifecycle from initial support requests through to thorough testing and quality control. They needed clear communication from their development partner to give them visibility of the progress of important projects.
Howsafe’s existing integrations require streamlining to ensure the reliability and consistency of products and orders. This needs support from a specialist agency that can work closely with the integration developers to improve data flow.
The Howsafe website also requires a full review of the user experience including optimising the checkout process and improving the search functionality with powerful conversion-boosting features.
The Roadmap to Better eCommerce
After Howsafe partnered with Develo, we created a bespoke roadmap including two separate phases - ‘Fix’ and ‘Maintain and Grow’. These phases encompass each granular task to create a clear roadmap to Howsafe’s end goal - an optimised and high-performing eCommerce site.
We have been working closely with Howsafe’s team over the past few months and have already made great progress including initial checkout improvements, implementing Algolia search and developing designs for Single Sign On and Instant Pay.
