This new Magento site was built from a custom design and launched to help the client get a share of the ever increasing demand for quality Oak Furniture Online at excellent value prices. To help this site stand out and do well in a busy market place, a number of custom features were added to help maximise the number of sales and profit.
Custom Magento Features
To help increase sales the following features were added to the Magento site.
- Feature slider was developed showing special prices and a countdown timer to the special offer ending. To help encourage impulse buying from the customer knowing that the offer will end.
- ‘Free gifts’ special extension was developed that allows the store owner to specify products as free when a customer spends a certain amount. This should encourage customers to spend a little more to reach the free gift total, everyone loves a free gift!
- Customer testimonials section
- Blog to help generate content and increase indexed keyword rich content in Google and other search engines.
- RMA (Returns Management) System was added to help with the process of customers ordering returns and knowing the state or returns enquiries.
