The Project

The Strings Club was founded in 2012 by professional violinist and teacher, Amy Cunningham. Her aim was to give children an opportunity to engage with music in a rewarding, enriching – but most of all, fun way.
Since then The Strings Club has inspired over 500,000+ children aged 4-11, through a range of multi award-winning music programmes that run throughout the school holidays and in after-schools clubs around the Country.

We were asked to make some improvements to an existing WordPress site, but finding out about the business, we knew a brand new Webflow template website would solve all their existing problems with user experience and responsivity, and set them up for their plans for future growth.

What we did

After our research and discovery sessions to create the brief, we found the perfect template to use as the base for The Strings Club, we set about creating a design prototype in Adobe XD. We completely re-structured the navigation and set about breaking down the content into more digestible smaller sections.

The main focus was the events and event listing pages. For this, we added in a location-based search, and highlighted the key important event details so it was easier to get all the event information, quickly.

We built a CMS for the blog, events, locations, and team profiles and by using Webflow, the whole site is fully customisable by their team moving forward.

Third-Party Integration

We integrated a Spreadshirt shop, Feefo review widgets, linked Mailchimp for email capture, and pulled through Elfsight's Instagram slider widget.
