With over 100 years of experience behind them, the Leon Paul brand is 21st Century Fencing. Passed down through 4 generations of Olympic fencers, designing and manufacturing, pioneering equipment in their London factory. Leon Paul continues to sponsor over 200 athletes and expand the business internationally.
After a successful launch of their Magento 1 site back in 2015, we were tasked with upping the stakes for round 2, performing a Magento 2 migration with a shiny new commerce experience that presents Leon Paul as the leading global player in fencing.
We kicked off with a full analysis of their current site structure and usability and with the insights of our client's vision, we set about to define the new site through wireframing and the creation of design prototypes.
Leon Paul have 10 international stores, all with their own separate currencies, delivery options, and content. So we focused on seamless management, overcoming their blockers surrounding site experience, whilst creating a sleeker interface that would work cross-platform.

The new Adyen payment integration has increased fraud protection, as well and providing better localised payment methods. The new integration with Orderwise has helped to speed up the manufacturing process.
