They have been a client of ours since 2017, taking over their old M1 site and making conversion improvements to increase their sales. In 2021 we got the opportunity to migrate them over to M2 to further the growth of their eCommerce business.
The first step was to carry out a comprehensive discovery and research phase, looking at their analytics, competitors, usability, site structure, design, and also the insights of our client's wishlist. This helped us define the redesign of the UX and UI through prototyping, to create a high-performing customer experience whilst modernising the look and feel.
We built the site using the Hyvä Theme for its speed and performance. We integrated Stripe, Klarna, Apple, and Google Pay to increase customer satisfaction and reduce abandoned carts. Dynamic Yield was used for A/B testing, to personalise customers' experience with UI, and suggest products dependent on shopping habits. We also integrated Algolia search, due to its millisecond relevant results and AI merchandising features.
We implemented unique custom-built modules to the MWLS site, including a Barcode scanner system, Instant shipping label printing, exclusive gift pop-up and basket upsell.
Since launching In November the conversions have increased by 25%, increasing average order values by 10%. They have seen a 44% reduction in page load times and shoppers have increased their sessions by 7%.
