The Project
We were tasked with an M1 to M2 Adobe Commerce migration for a UK leading brand of engineering components & consumables. Their new platform looked to strengthen their brand presence in the industry, allowing them to scale their business whilst modernising their workflow.
What We Did
We helped them to stand out by modernising the look and feel to be more accessible overall whilst streamlining the user journey. We developed Magento extensions which enhance both user and client usability. Some new features included on-demand product pdf catalogue generator, BOM upload quick ordering features, photo upload part finder, VAT toggle and currency selector.
Each feature was made to be configurable per customer, this allowed the client to customise their store, providing a personalised experience to streamline the overall procurement process.
The Results
On launching their new eCommerce portal we had removed time consuming tasks that were previously completed offline and also reduced the time taken to get quotes online for customers to purchase. The client now has the flexibility to turn on and off features per customer, giving them a tailored experience for their staff to assist with their workflows and procurement.
The new site has been future-proofed for the stable expansion of their nationwide commerce solution.
